Chemical park
Definition:
A chemical park is a specialized industrial complex in which several chemical companies work together to create synergies and increase efficiency. These parks offer comprehensive infrastructure and services specifically tailored to the needs of the chemical industry.
Economic and locational advantages
Chemical parks give companies access to existing production networks, specialized suppliers, qualified specialists and industrial areas that have been tested by permits. This makes investments easier and reduces barriers to entry.
Safety and environmental infrastructure
Due to high safety and environmental requirements, a chemical park has central facilities such as a plant fire department, safety control center, accident management, wastewater treatment and hazardous materials storage, which makes operations safer and more efficient.

Challenges in chemical park operations:
High security, access, and compliance requirements
Chemical parks are subject to strict safety and access regulations (e.g. for explosion protection, hazardous materials handling and factory access). External transport partners need detailed information on processes, access requirements and safety instructions. Unclear communication leads to delays or compliance risks.

Complex logistics and infrastructure processes
Chemical parks work with complex material and hazardous goods flows (pipeline, rail, truck and logistics chains). Different gate and delivery processes per location make transportation planning and driver briefing difficult without a central source of information.

Loady's solution:
Centralized provision of all location and security requirements
Loady ensures that transport partners know what access requirements, instructions, safety documents, PPE requirements or registration processes apply in the chemical park before they travel. This reduces misunderstandings and waiting times.
Standardised, multilingual location data for external service providers
Drivers and freight forwarders receive clear and structured guidelines — including location navigation, gate processes, safety requirements and required documents. This improves safety, predictability and turnaround times at chemical park sites.
