  • Transient cookies (see b)

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. In particular, this includes session cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser's security settings.

§ 6 Use of Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will abbreviate your IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator.

(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google.

(3) You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp ()”. As a result, IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that identification of a person can be ruled out. Insofar as the data collected about you is personally identified, this will therefore be immediately excluded and the personal data will be deleted immediately.

(5) We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. We obtain your consent to use Google Analytics. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

(6) Information from the third party provider: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, fax: +353 (1) 436 1001. Terms of use: http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html, Data protection overview: http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/learn/privacy.html, as well as the privacy policy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

§ 7 Integration of YouTube videos

(1) We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offering, which are stored at http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in “extended data protection mode,” meaning that no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube when you play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data mentioned in paragraph 2 be transferred. We have no influence on this data transfer.

(2) When you visit the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data specified under § 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. This is done regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account that you are logged in to or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data is directly associated with your account. If you do not want to be associated with your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as user profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide appropriate advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, although you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

(3) For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube, please see the privacy policy. There you can also find more information about your rights and settings options to protect your privacy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. We obtain your consent to use YouTube. The legal basis for using YouTube is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

§ 8 Personio

(1) We use the software solution from Personio SE & Co.KG for our applicant management. The data submitted as part of your application is transmitted via TLS encryption and stored in a database. This database is operated and managed by Personio SE & Co.KG, which offers personnel administration and applicant management software (https://www.personio.de/impressum/). In this context, Personio SE & Co.KG is our contract processor in accordance with Article 28 GDPR and stores the data exclusively on ISO-certified servers in Germany. Personio SE & Co.KG's privacy policy can be found at https://www.personio.de/ueber-uns/datenschutz/#datenschutz-downloads.

(2) With the exception of the transfer of your data to the body mentioned above under §8 (1), your data will only be passed on if our company is legally obliged to do so or if this is necessary in the event of misuse or for clarification. However, this requires concrete evidence of illegal or abusive conduct. By order of a competent authority, we may provide information about this data (inventory data) in individual cases, in particular for law enforcement purposes.

§ 9 Use of Google Adwords Conversion

(1) We use Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. Based on the data from the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. We are interested in showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

(2) These advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called “ad servers”. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters to measure success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords stores a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

(3) These cookies enable Google to recognize your Internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Adwords customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Adwords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be traced via the websites of Adwords customers. We ourselves do not collect or process any personal data in the mentioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can identify which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of advertising materials; in particular, we cannot identify users based on this information.

(4) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically creates a direct connection to Google's server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and will therefore inform you to the best of our knowledge: By integrating AdWords Conversion, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and store your IP address.

(5) You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular, the suppression of third-party cookies means that you do not receive ads from third parties; b) by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking, by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”, https://www.google.de/settings/ads, although this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by disabling interest-based ads from providers who are part of the “About Ads” self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, although this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.

(6) The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can find more information about Google's privacy policy here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org visit.

For this purpose, the LinkedIn Insight Tag is integrated into this website, which creates a connection to the LinkedIn server if you visit this website and are logged into your LinkedIn account at the same time.

(2) In LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy You can find more information about data collection and use as well as the options and rights to protect your privacy. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. For the evaluations, we link the data mentioned in § 3 and the web beacons with your email address and an individual ID. With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. In doing so, we record when you read our newsletter, which links you click on in them and deduce your personal interests from this. We link this data to actions you have taken on our website. You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in every email or by informing us via another contact method. The consent can be withdrawn at any time.
