When products are transported, stored or filled, choosing the right contact material is essential. Whether it’s container walls, packaging or gasket material, Loady lets you maintain all allowed contact materials in a clear and standardized way — without relying on unstructured free‑text entries.
Where do I maintain contact materials in Loady?
You can manage all allowed materials in the Product Safety section of your product data. Here, you define which materials are permitted for containers, packaging and gaskets.
The relevant area is called Specific Product Requirements, which includes:
- Allowed container materials
- Allowed gasket materials
- Additional information

Why does Loady use standardized dictionaries?
Instead of manually typing free‑text descriptions, Loady uses standardized dictionaries. This offers several advantages:
- Clarity: All users work with the same, clearly defined terms.
- Consistency & quality: No duplications or ambiguous variations of the same material.
- Automation: Clean data can be filtered, shared, or integrated into downstream logistics processes.
- Efficiency: Selecting from a list is faster and eliminates typing errors.
How do you select the right materials?
When editing a product, go to the Product Safety tab and open the Specific Product Requirements section.
There, you can simply select the allowed materials from Loady’s dictionary entries. The system ensures that all material names are standardized and compliant.
This way, partners across supply chain and logistics — from transport service providers to filling sites — know exactly which materials are permitted for your product.
