· According to SAP's official product strategy, SAP ECC will be discontinued by the end of 2027 at the latest; SAP S/4HANA is the strategic successor platform

· As part of this transformation, it makes particular sense to switch to a collaborative master data strategy at the same time

· According to users, the effort required to maintain master data is reduced by up to 40%.

Mannheim, October 28, 2025 —— With the white paper “Loady and SAPS/4HANA in the context of logistical master data and SAP BN4L,” Loady GmbH publishes a detailed analysis of a previously neglected challenge in digital logistics: maintaining logistical loading and unloading requirements. The document shows how companies can use Loady to close a central gap between ERP systems, transport management and operational logistics — and why this is the right time to switch to a collaborative master data strategy as part of the SAP S/4HANA transformation.

Currently, neither ERP nor network platforms offer a structured, validated solution for loading requirements. The majority of information is stored individually, without a mandatory structure, without versioning and without maintenance processes. Loady, on the other hand, as a SaaS solution (Software as a Service) enables data maintenance directly at the source, a standardized, multilingual data model and API-based integration into existing SAP and TMS environments. To this end, shippers, recipients of goods and external warehouse logistics maintain their loading requirements and transport-relevant data in Loady. The platform offers verification options and versions the data. Synchronization in SAP S/4HANA takes place via an API. TMS systems also access loady or synchronized data and the shipper always uses up-to-date and consolidated information.

Companies that integrate Loady into their SAP architecture report up to 40% less effort for master data maintenance and significantly reduced queries in transport processing. “Collaborative platform approaches form the basis for resilient, automated supply chains. Because automating logistics doesn't start with the algorithm — it starts with the quality of master data,” says Stefanie Kraus, CEO of Loady GmbH.

About Loady GmbH

Loady is the first data hub for sharing loading requirements in supply chain logistics. The Mannheim-based start-up was founded in 2023 from the chemical industry to fix a long-standing breaking point in digital collaboration and ensure smooth first and last miles in industrial transport. With its standardized data model, API interfaces and user-specific views in 16 European languages, Loady enables effective digital communication of current loading and unloading requirements. Shippers, goods recipients, external warehouses, tank farms, freight terminals and industrial park operators who manage their data on Loady and share it with their ecosystem thus accelerate the entire logistics process, reduce expenses, costs and CO2-Emissions. Data from over 9,000 products and 400 locations in Europe, USA and Canada is already available in Loady for transportation.
