For customers / consignees: Verify your unloading requirements after receiving a verification request from your supplier

Overview of updates

E The verification process allows shippers to quickly gather their customers' unloading requirements

VERIFICATION FLOW

(High Level)

RESULT: Verified data is transferred to Loady and can be used for transportation processes and shared with other stakeholders

What is the verification flow?

Functionality that can be used to record, check and verify unloading requirements from their business partners:

  • Recording new data sets (e.g. for new customers)
  • Checking existing data sets to ensure data quality

Why should I verify data as a customer?

  • Suppliers need their customers' unloading requirements for optimal transport planning. Currently, these are often requested in Word, Excel, PDF documents and passed on to the carriers in an unstructured form (texts in SAP, e-mail, etc.)
  • Loady offers business partners a way to specify transportation requirements in a user-friendly interface and in a structured form. This means that the effort required for data maintenance remains the same or is reduced, while the resulting data quality increases enormously

E If a verifier receives a verification request for the first time, a Loady account must first be created

INFO: If the verifier is not yet a Loady user, they will receive 2 emails upon verification request: 1 x registration & 1 x verification

  1. Open the email with the subject Loady Registration
  2. Click on Go to Loady Login
  3. Enter the email address, copy the password from the email and click on Sign in
  4. Set a new, secure password and click Continue
  5. Enter your first and last name and click on Update

NOTE: Verifiers who have not been assigned to a company on Loady will only have access to the Dashboard, Public data and Verification requests

1 Verifiers can start processing the verification request via the email or dashboard

  1. Open the email with the subject Verification Request
  2. Click on Verify the Requirements
  3. Log in to Loady
    • You will be redirected to the dashboard. The verification request will be displayed there
    • Alternatively, you can see all verification requests in the various statuses under Verification requests
  4. Click on Go to or on the verification request with the status Requested
    • You will be redirected to the fact sheet

E The central object for checking, adjusting and completing data is the Fact Sheet Logistics Requirements

What is the fact sheet?

  • The fact sheet summarizes all information on the site, unloading point or material in the context of logistics that a supplier already has maintained for its customers or would like to gather to optimize the transport process
  • The data verifier can execute the following actions within the fact sheet:
    • Edit: Switch from view mode to edit mode to adjust or add data
    • Save: Save adjusted data to continue processing verification request later
    • Finish verification: After checking and adjusting the data set, finish the verification and send to requestor
  • Tasks of the verifier:
  1.  Check data
  2.  If data is not correct, adjust it
  3.  Complete missing data

2 Data is adjusted in edit mode if it is not correct

  2. Once all data is correct, click on Finish verification

CONSEQUENCES

  • The verification request receives the status: Verified
  • NOTE: You can always view the status of your verification requests under Verification requests
  • The requestor is informed by email and via Loady notification that the verification of the data set has been completed
  • The verified data will now be checked by the requestor

6 After completion of the verification request by the verifier, the requestor checks the data

The verification request has been completed. The data has been confirmed by the requestor

Before completing the verification request, any open questions must first be clarified. If necessary, the verification process must be restarted

NEXT STEPS

  • Requestor will check the verified data
    • RESULT:
      1. The requestor has no questions and confirms the data: The verification request is complete. It receives the status Confirmed
      2. The requestor has questions and contacts you to clarify the questions. If it is necessary for you to adjust the data, the verification process will be restarted with a new verification request. In order to keep the adjustment effort as low as possible, the data can be saved by the requestor. In this case, you only have to adjust the affected data when the verification process is repeated and do not have to enter all the data again
